Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy
The Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy honors and validates the home or primary language students bring to their English academic education and honors all students who demonstrate a high level of literacy in two or more languages, one being English. It also provides employers and universities with a method of identifying people with strong language and biliteracy skills. Upon graduation, students who qualify for the seal of biliteracy receive a certificate of achievement, a biliteracy seal in their diploma and a note of biliteracy attainment in their high school transcripts.
Take the test and showcase your bilingual skills!
· Demonstrate proficiency in English and another language
· Earn 1 Language Arts credit
· Earn up to 5 World Language credits
· 10th thru 12th Grade students can sign up in room 224 before September 29th
AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY and AP US GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS
- Students enrolled in an AP course and are wishing to take the AP exam in May 2025, will be responsible for a $20 enrollment fee that will be deducted from your exam fees.
- Students must create a AP College Board account with a course join code and register "yes" to order their AP exam(s) Verify your College Board account or create one

- Registration deadline: NOVEMBER 8th, 2024
- North High School will be collecting fees for AP Exams beginning September 30th, 2024
- There will be a $40 fee for late registration, for students registering after the November 8th, 2024 deadline.
AP EXAM FEES BREAKDOWN
- Full Exam fee after subsidies: $69.
- Income Eligibility for Reduced Lunch: $39. – See if you are eligible for reduced lunch
- Proof of State Aid Assistance: $0 – See if you are eligible for state aid assistance
- Students who do not formally drop the course through College Board or with the School Testing Coordinator by March 1st, will be responsible for the unused exam fee of $40

SAT EXAM FOR SENIORS

ASVAB EXAM FOR SENIORS AND JUNIORS
- PRE-REGISTER FOR THE ASVAB EXAM
- Date: OCTOBER 9, 2025
- Full Exam fee: $0
The ASVAB is a series of tests that produce academic scores for verbal, math, and academic ability, and measures aptitudes related to success in different jobs. Aptitude is the readiness to become proficient in a type of activity, given the opportunity. When the ASVAB scores are returned to the school, students will receive a workbook and instruction that will enable them to understand and use their personal information for career explorations.
