North Salem Bands
About
The band program at North Salem seeks to teach values and skills like discipline, stewardship, leadership, work ethic, collaboration, and strength of character through the teaching and learning of music through performance in band. The band program currently reaches over 100 different students through our 3 levels of concert bands, 2 jazz bands, marching band, and pep band.
Congratulations to our six Salem-Keizer All-City Honor Band members! These students rehearsed and performed an amazing concert with their guest conductor, Dr. Mary Shnyder from Eastern Michigan University. Pictured here (from left to right):

North Salem Concert Bands
North Salem Band Program has three levels of concert band classes available to students: Concert Band (for freshman and/or students developing fundamental skills), Advanced Band (for sophomores and/or students working on developing fluency of instrumental skills), and Wind Ensemble, the varsity band level restricted by both instrumentation and student playing ability.
