Future Viking Night

Hello Class of 2025!

If you missed our Future Viking Night on February 10, you can visit or revisit the videos and resources offered that evening:

  • Keynote: Future Viking Night Presentations
  • Building Tour Video with Principal Chad Towe
  • Forecasting Video: Choosing Your Classes
  • Career and Technical Education Video
  • Athletics, Activities & Clubs Presentation

What is Future Viking Night? Typically on this evening, we open the building and invite incoming freshmen and their families to a live tour of the North Salem High School building, face to face presentations about core classes and electives, and help completing the 9th grade forecasting sheet. But for this year, we have provided it all by virtual means, and it’s all included in this link.

Limited In Person Instruction

Announcing:

North Salem High School is excited to announce an expansion of our Limited In-Person Instruction (LIPI) for Quarter 3.

Specific students who will most benefit from in-person support have been identified and families can expect personalized communication from the school to discuss this opportunity.  Current building and safety limitations require our process to be limited to small groups of students, with safe practices, and academically supported in a regulated way.

We are happy to talk about this with families, but please understand that if your child is having success online (attendance, grades, growth), they will not likely get an invitation for Limited In-Person Instruction at this time.  We are working closely with our District leadership on the possibility of expanded in-person learning for quarter 4 (in April), and are closely watching the state COVID metrics to determine re-entry to the building (this will be announced at a district level).

We are all excited for the day/s that we get to come back to the building as a whole and are glad that we are taking small strides towards that goal as we continue our mission to equitably educate, support, and inspire our students.  Thank you for your understanding and teamwork.  Please reach out with any questions or concerns.  Go Viks!

Anunciando

Go Viks!
