SEPTEMBER:

September 12th: Deadline to register for the SAT’s. Rena Lewis in room 224 with questions.

September 10th: Senior sunrise: FB field @6:15am

September 26th: Homecoming: Homecoming Carnival 5-6:30 Homecoming FB game, half-time parade

September 27th: Homecoming Dance. West Commons. Tickets needed

OCTOBER:

Purchase the official senior sweatshirt: Bookkeeper $22 (Design available Oct. 1st)

October 1st: FAFSA Opens: First day to submit your FAFSA: FAFSA LINK

October 9th: SAT day (see school website for info)

October 10th: No school: Statewide inservice

October 22nd: No school/6 week grading/Conferences

October 23rd: Parent/teacher conferences

October 24th: No school

October 28th: Senior meeting during activity period. Jostens.com. Ordering caps/gowns/announcements etc. Main gym

October 31st: Safe Halloween

NOVEMBER:

November 4th & 5th: Jostens collects orders

November 11th (Tuesday): Veterans Day, No school

November 26th: Senior photos due:  SUBMIT PHOTO HERE!

November 26-28th: No School, Thanksgiving break

DECEMBER:

December 5th: No school/Grading

December 18th: Holiday baskets

December 22nd-January 2nd: Winter Break

JANUARY:

January 5th: Return to school

January 19th: No school/MLK day

Jan 27, 28, 29th: Semester 1 finals

January 30th: No school

FEBRUARY:

February 2nd: Semester 2 begins

February 16th: No school/Presidents Day-Or potential make-up day

MARCH:

March 11 & 12th: Parent/teacher conferences

March 23-27th: Spring Break

APRIL:

April: TBD Senior class meeting during CCR time in the Auditorium

April 28th: Graduation Speech/audition packet due: Return to Mr. Davis.

May 13TH: College signing day: Both lunches, library. Celebrating ALL seniors! All seniors welcome regardless of college admittance. Eat lunch, take photos, win prizes, have fun! (Adrain Rodriguez)

May 16th: Senior locker decorations: 10am-1pm (Saturday): Main entrance LOCKER DECORATIONS INSTRUCTIONS

May 28th (Thursday) 29th (Friday): Senior finals

May 29th: Last day to RSVP for the Senior breakfast RSVP HERE

May 29th: Senior Sunset: Football field 7:30-9pm

JUNE:

June 1st (Monday): “Almost done” Day. Attend classes, teachers take attendance.

Seniors use this day to do the following:

• Turn in Chromebooks (Library)
• Turn in Yonder pouches
• Turn in textbooks (Library)
• Clean out your locker (throw away trash, food and take home personal items)
• Pick-up Jostens order (if needed)
• Yearbook pick-up and/or signing
• Rental Cap & Gown pick-up (Counseling office)
• Pay fees and fines (Bookkeepers window)

June 2nd: Senior grades due 4pm

June 3rd: Senior breakfast and honors: Main gym. Bring cap and gown but don’t wear until parade. 8am

June 3rd Senior photo: Front of school in cap and gown 9:30-10:00am

June 3rd: Senior final voyage: Walk through the halls

June 3rd Parade of honor 10:30-12pm (buses in the front of the building) permission slip needed.

June 3rd: TBD. Grad Party: No NSHS affiliation/Senior parents run. Parents can email northsalemseniorparents@gmail.com if interested in helping out and/or find more information. Cost $10, The Rec 6pm-10pm

June 5th: 8:00am: Mandatory graduation rehearsal. All graduates must attend to walk and will receive graduation tickets for the ceremony. Check-in, then sit on the home-side of the bleachers.

June 5th: Graduation ceremony: 6 pm. Graduates need to arrive no later than 4:30pm. Stadium gate opens at 5pm.
